In order to help you to create an account with Filinovel and use the service, we need to collect and process some Information. However, the information we collect depends on how you use Filinovel and the choices you make. You can learn how to access and delete information we collect by visiting Filinovel settings. We use the Personal Information to: Things you and others do and provide.

• When you choose to use Filinovel as a non-registered user, we may collect your age.When you choose to use Filinovel as a registered user, we may collect your nickname, age, email address, a password for your account, in or about the content you provide (like metadata), such as the location of a novel you uploaded or the date a file was created. We collect the age information is for verifying whether you are a qualified user of Filinovel.

• When you choose to pay the service on Filinovel, withdraw the payment, acquire your revenue sharing, we may collect your payment information, such as PayPal or other third-party payment information (where required for the purpose of payment). This information is required to complete a commercial transaction on Filinovel. We use this information to enable and fulfill your transaction.

• When you choose to provide feedback or contact us, or otherwise provide information voluntarily to us, our employees, or our contractors, the data will be collected by us as well.

We collect information about how you use Filinovel, such as the types of content you read; the features you use; the actions you take; the people or accounts you interact with; and the time, frequency and duration of your activities.

You may choose to share certain data with us from third parties or through your use of Filinovel, we may collect such third party data. If you connect a social network account to Filinovel or choose to register to use Filinovel using your social network account details, we will ask permission to access basic information from that account, such as your username and email address, which may depend on your use and settings on the social network.

Device Information
As described below, We automatically log your activity on Filinovel, including the content you view on Filinovel, how long you spent viewing such content, access times, the URL of the website from which you came to our site, and other details about your use of and actions on Filinovel. Create your Filinovel account and provide you with our Services; Identify you across the Platform;
Make age appropriate content available to you;
Provide you with technical support services;
Communicate with you (e.g. letting you know about upcoming changes or improvements);
Send you marketing emails, unless you opt-out;
Calculate anonymous and aggregate statistics to better understand our users, improve our services, develop new features, personalize and customize your story discovery experience;
Help prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and other prohibited activity;
Display relevant, tailored advertisements and improve your ad experience, except where your separate consent is required;
For security purposes, other purpose aims to operate, develop and improve our services.

If you choose to use our service or provide your information to us, your information may be transferred to, processed and maintained on servers or databases located outside of the country or jurisdiction where your are located, including Singapore. Such countries or regions may have laws that are less prospective than the country or regions in which you reside. If you do not want your information transferred to or processed or maintained outside of the country or jurisdiction where you are located, you should not use our Site, Application, and/or Services.

People and accounts you share and communicate with

When you choose to share and communicate using the Filinovel community, Any information that you voluntarily choose to include in a publicly accessible space of Filinovel will be available to anyone who has access to that content (including other Filinovel users), such as your username, name, the description you create, and your location, as well as the messages you post whether on your profile, on our forums or to other users, and the lists you create, people you follow, stories you write, and many other bits of information that result from your use of Filinovel.

When you choose to share information to third parties outside of Filinovel, the information you share may be able to see and use by third parties. Please note that Filinovel may include references or links to products provided by third parties whose privacy practices differ from ours. If you provide personal data to any of those third parties, or consent to our sharing personal data with them, that data is governed by their privacy policies.

Sharing with Third-Party Partners

We work with third-party partners who help us and improve Filinovel, which makes it possible to operate our companies and provide services to people around the world. We don't sell any of your information to anyone, and we never will. We also impose strict restrictions on how our partners can use and disclose the data we provide. Here are the types of third parties we share information with:

Partners who provide our analytics services, make you special offers via Filinovel;
Members, subsidiaries, or affiliates of our corporate group, make Filinovel improving and optimising, preventing illegal use and supporting users;

Law enforcement agencies, public or tax authorities or other organizations if legally required to do so.

We do not rent or sell your personally identifying information to other companies or individuals, unless we have your consent.

Finally, we may share de-identified information in accordance with applicable law.

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to help protect personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted via the Platform; any transmission is at your own risk. To help us protect personal data, we request that you use a strong password and never share your password with anyone or use the same password with other sites or accounts.

Filinovel is not intended for children. This Platform is not directed at children under the age of 12 or equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction. If you believe that we have personal data about or collected from a child under the relevant age, please contact us at contact@goodnovel.com .

Users between 12 and 18 (each a "Teen") may not access or use the Service unless (i) both the Teen and their parent or legal guardian have first agreed to these Terms of Service; and (ii) the Teen uses an account established by their parent or legal guardian, under such parent or guardian's supervision, and with such parent or guardian's permission. If you permit a Teen to use the Services, you hereby agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of both yourself and the Teen. You further agree that you are solely responsible for any and all use of the Service by your Teen regardless of whether such use was authorized by you.

You can access and edit most of your profile information by signing into your account. We also provide a number of tools in Settings that allow you to control your information. Should you choose to do so, you may delete your entire account in Settings.

We retain your information for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the service or fulfill the transactions you have requested or authorized. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contact us at contact@goodnovel.com . We will evaluate such requests on a case by case basic.

You have the ability to delete your Account, and you should understand that upon deletion of your Account, you will lose the right to access or use all or part of the Platform. After you have deleted your account, we may retain certain information in an aggregated and anonymised format.

We'll notify you before we make changes to this policy and give you the opportunity to review the revised policy before you choose to continue using our Products.

Filinovel allows other companies, which are known as third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements within Filinovel's Platform. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send the advertisements and links that appear on Filinovel directly to you. They automatically receive your IP address when the advertising happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content you see.

Filinovel does not provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party ad servers or ad networks without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out.

You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers or ad networks for more information on their practices and for instructions on how to opt-out of certain practices. Filinovel's Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other advertisers or platforms. Any data obtained by third-party ad servers and subsequently shared with Filinovel is maintained and dealt with by Filinovel in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how we process your personal data, please submit your complaint via email at contact@goodnovel.com. We will endeavor to deal with your request as soon as possible. This is without prejudice to your right to launch a claim with your data protection authority or follow the dispute resolution process provided in the Terms of Service.
